Support is always available

The Family Support Counsellor can provide:

Support to any or all members of a family that are affected by the results of someone within the family who are abusing Volatile Substances such and glues, gas or aerosols

Support for those who may be trying to come to terms with the death of someone within the family due to Volatile Substance Abuse.

Emotional as well as practical support.

Information and awareness about the dangers and consequences of sniffing and how best to support the user.

One - one counselling for members of the family.

Family meditation between the user and the rest of the family.

Signposting to other relevant agencies or groups

Counselling is also available to the users or if they are not ready for counselling, support will be provided until they feel ready to give up.

A family or users requiring any of the above services are guaranteed to be seen within seven working days.

Self or agency referrals by post, phone, e-mail or visit (referral forms available on request)

All services are free of charge to families and users
