A NEW EXCITING DEVELOPMENT FOR SOLVE IT

SOLVE IT is taking the first steps in putting solvent and volatile substance abuse (VSA) on the National map. As a part of our evolving growth SOLVE IT has appointed it's first National Development Officer tasked with making agencies and individuals aware of the drastic consequences of this form of abuse.

Deborah Clark has taken on this challenging new role and is keen to raise the issues and promote SOLVE IT services in areas of the UK where there is no dedicated VSA provision.

Deborah said, " This role will give me a unique prospect of developing education and awareness in areas where as far as we are aware, no such service exists. It will I believe take my emotions on a journey of extremes - where I will feel challenged, sometimes frustrated, despondent and negative to the other extreme of being excited, rewarded, satisfied and positive. I intend to meet this challenge head on, so that young people and all those involved with young people in no matter what capacity have access to the vital information that SOLVE IT provides".

Steve Lambert of SOLVE IT said, " This is a huge step forward in what we are trying to achieve. Deborah has a big task ahead of her, but one that she clearly relishes, and we are sure that she will get the support of all those individuals and agencies throughout the UK with whom she will be working for the good of the children and young people who are at risk."
