SOLVE IT has recently given training for partners from
the Children's Fund, making the community groups representatives
aware of the issues surrounding volatile substance abuse.
All the attendees felt that the training had been beneficial
in the work they undertake, and readily conceded that they
had not been aware of the full implications of VSA before
the session.
Barbara Skinner, Chief Executive, who organised the training
said "It was good to be able to make our partners aware
of some of the issues, SOLVE IT believes in working with other
voluntary groups, and it is important that as many people
as possible are aware of VSA especially if they work with
young people".
